Enable Bar Code Symbologies & Enable Carriage Return Suffix
Monday, March 23rd, 2009The following outlines the process necessary to enable certain symbologies on an LXE mobile computer, as well as to attach a Carriage Return to the suffix of a bar code scan.
- On the device go to Start, Settings, Control Panel.
- Double click the Scanner icon.
- Navigate to the Bar Code tab. Change Enable Code ID: to Symbol. Click Symbology Settings.
- Change Symbology to UPC/EAN. Check the Enable box, Check the Add Suffix box and enter ^M. Click OK.
