If you purchased an LXE device before January 1, 2009 and have the Summit Client Utility v. 1.x, you will want to follow these instructions.

If you purchased an LXE device after January 1, 2009 and have the Summit Client Utility v. 2.x, you can follow the instructions below:

1. Locate the Summit Client Utility shortcut on the desktop and double-click it.
   
2. Click the Admin Login button and enter the admin password. By default the admin password is SUMMIT (case sensitive)
   
3. Navigate to the Profile tab. Click New.
   
4. Enter the name of the profile.  Click OK.
   
5. Select SSID from the Radio list, and enter your SSID.
   
6. Select Power Save from the Radio list.  Change the option to CAM.
   
7. Select the drop down list below Encryption.  Select the type of security your network is using.  For this example I choose Manual WEP, but your network may be different.  Click the WEP keys/PSKs button below the drop down.
   
8. Enter your WEP key.  Click OK.
   
9. Click Commit.
10. Navigate to the Global tab.  Select Hide Passwords and change the Value to Off.  Click Commit.
    
11. Navigate back to the Main tab and select the profile you set up in Step 4 as the Active Profile. Click OK.
