NOTE: You will need Active Sync loaded onto your PC before you are able to connect your mobile device to your PC. You can download Active Sync 4.5 for free directly from Microsoft’s website.

1. Take the USB Cable Adapter and connect it to the battery end of the MC9090. If you have a docking station all you will have to do is dock the MC9000 device into the cradle and ensure that the cradle is connected to your PC. Below is a picture of the USB Cable Adapter.

2. Make sure the Cable is connected to your PC. Your PC should start Microsoft Active Sync when this cable is connected. As shown below, you will see a green circle rotating and the program will say Connecting.

Note: If this program doesn’t start try reconnecting the Adapter to your MC9090.

3. You will be prompted to decide on a partnership. Select No (Cancel) and click next.

4. Your connection to the MC9090 is now established and you can leave this program open. Clicking on Explore will let you browse the folder structure on the device.
