If you purchased an LXE device after January 1, 2009 and have the Summit Client Utility v. 2.x, you will want to follow these instructions.

If you purchased an LXE device before January 1, 2009 and have the Summit Client Utility v. 1.x, you can follow the instructions below:

1. Locate the Summit Client Utility shortcut on the desktop and double-click it.
   
2. Click the Admin Login button.
   
3. Enter your Admin password. The default Admin password is SUMMIT.
   
4. Navigate to the Profile tab. Select the SSID option on the Radio drop down and enter your SSID.
   
5. Select your encryption type. For this example we will use WEP.
   
6. Click the WEP keys/PSKs button.
   
7. Enter your WEP key in the appropriate Tx Key option. If you’re unsure what key to use, select Tx Key 1. Click OK.
   
8. Select Power Save. Change it from FAST to CAM. This will prevent the device from disconnecting from your network on its own, but may decrease its battery life.
   
9. Click Commit.
   
10. Click OK.
