Wireless Access Point

Enable your workers with real time access to vital application data by connecting your mobile device fleet to your application with a wireless access point.

Benefits of wireless access points include:

  • Minimize paperwork by enabling your workforce with real time access to your application from a mobile computer
  • Ensure secure transactions through advanced wireless security options such as WPA, WPA2, EAP, LEAP, and 802.1x authentication
  • Configure access points with hotspot access to easily create secure guest network access
  • Deploy your access points with a wireless LAN controller (Wireless Switch) to enable centralized management and control of your entire wireless network

Cisco 1250

The Aironet 1250 Series is the first enterprise-class access point to support the IEEE 802.11n draft 2.0 standard.  These access points:

  • Offer combined data rates of up to 600 Mbps
  • Use multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology to provide reliable and predictable WLAN coverage
  • Offer simplified operational management

Cisco 3500

The 3500 series access point uses the IETF standard Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points Protocol (CAPWAP) to communicate between the controller and other wireless access points on the network. CAPWAP is a standard, interoperable protocol which enables an access controller to manage a collection of wireless termination points. The discovery process using CAPWAP is identical to the Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP) used with previous Cisco Aironet access points. LWAPP-enabled access points are compatible with CAPWAP and conversion to a CAPWAP controller is seamless. Deployments can combine CAPWAP and LWAPP software on the controllers.

Cisco 1260

Provide reliable and predictable 802.11n wireless coverage for indoor environments. Cisco Aironet 1260 Series wireless access points deliver up to nine times the throughput of 802.11a/g networks for multimedia applications. Designed specifically for challenging environments, the 1260 Series supports external antennas and a broad operating temperature range.

Motorola / Symbol AP6532

The performance-focused dual radio 802.11n AP 6532 access point provides customers with higher throughput and dual-radio performance while benefiting from WiNG 5 intelligence at the edge. This versatile AP leverages Motorola’s hallmark 802.11n band-unlocked radios, allowing IT to use the second radio to provide WiFi access or serve as a dedicated wireless sensor that scans both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands for network assurance and security The access point will also continue to run if its connection to a local or remote controller is interrupted. The AP 6532 can serve as a virtual controller and coordinate the operation of up to 24 neighboring access points for mobility and QOS services.

Cisco 1240AG

Cisco Aironet 1240G Series Access Points provide single-band 802.11g wireless connectivity for challenging RF environments such as factories, warehouses, and large retail establishments.

  • 802.11 a/b/g (2.4gHz & 5gHz)
  • Dual antenna connectors for 2.4-GHz radios AND 5GHz radios
  • Supports Power Over Ethernet
  • WEP, WPA, WPA, EAP, LEAP, PEAP

Motorola / Symbol AP650

The Motorola AP650 is a thin multi-purpose access point designed to lower the cost of deploying and operating a secure, reliable 802.11n wireless LAN (WLAN) in branch offices or headquarters facilities. The AP650 combines simultaneous WLAN access and sensing, providing 24x7 wireless security and enabling IT administrators to remotely troubleshooting network performance issues at any location. The AP650 is designed to optimize network availability through its central and pre-emptive intelligence which dynamically senses weak or failing signals, securely moves mobile users to alternate APs, and boosts signal power to ensure uninterrupted access. Common problems, often seen with other products on the market such as building attenuation, electronic interference or sub-optimal access point placement are minimized, as SMART RF automatically optimizes power and channel selection allowing users high-quality wireless access and mobility.

Motorola / Symbol AP 8132

The AP 8132 goes beyond typical AP functionality and features. In addition to providing high-speed network access for customers and staff, its modular design also enables you to more efficiently deploy applications where they are most needed. By leveraging your wireless network, the AP 8132 lets you deploy these applications without the time, effort and cost of having to install additional hardware and cabling.
