Going Wireless?

We provide two types of surveys: Pre-Install for initial access point layout and configuration, and Post-Install for troubleshooting problems in your current wireless network, or verifying the current design provides proper coverage.

Pre-Install Site Survey:

Miles Data has a team of Systems Engineers that travel the country conducting wireless site surveys. By coming on-site we are able to test the propagation of radio waves by setting up a temporary wireless network throughout your facility - one zone at a time. This gives us real time data transfer rates which we use to ensure you get the amount of coverage you need, where you need it most.

By taking the mystery out of wireless coverage during the design stage we ensure proper coverage of the area surveyed when your system is in place.

Post-Install Site Survey:

Is your current wireless network experiencing problems? By using sophisticated wireless diagnostic tools Miles Data Engineers analyze current wireless networks on a number of levels: current signal strength, current coverage area, and current channel interference. Optimizing your current network will help devices roam smoother and stay connected longer.
