Honeywell Granit Industrial Barcode Scanners

A Rugged Scanner for Every Application

There is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to scanning barcodes in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing facility. Warehouse location labels and inventory labels come in a wide variety of sizes, and feature both one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) barcodes. Employees may need to scan at long distances from a fork truck, or close up at packaging operation. Scanning may take place at a stationary workstation, from a mobile cart, or while staff are moving throughout the facility.

The Granit Series offers the highest performing, full-range imaging engine in the most rugged enclosure available. The scanners are designed to provide a complete solution for warehousing and manufacturing environments with variable scan requirements. Miles Data can help direct what will be the best model for your application.

  • Granit 1280i (corded) long-range, 1D laser scanner for use in a distribution center environment. Has an extended read range out to 16.5m (54 feet) and the cable can be replaced or upgraded with a single screw
  • Granit 1910i (corded) and 1911i (cordless) 1D scanners, standard-range devices for arms-length scanning in harsh environments
  • Granit 1920i DPM (corded) scanner features a laser-spot aimer and omnidirectional scanning of direct part marks, as well as both 1D and 2D barcode labels
  • Granit 1980i (corded) and 1981i (cordless) long-range imager-based scanners for applications that require speed and accuracy from 15cm to 15m

A Full Suite of Scan Options

With such a wide array of scan options – including both laser and imaging scan engines, wired and wireless connectivity, and close- and long-range models – the Granit industrial barcode scanner family provides the tools to help optimize workflows in any application allowing your operation to increase productivity with a scanner that is precisely what you need to do the job, instead of trying to retrofit processes to match the scanner.

The Granit line is also rugged – most units are rated IP65 against dust and moisture – which helps minimize device downtime. With fewer broken or damaged scanners, your workforce will be more productive.

The robust scan technology is further augmented with laser-spot aiming systems, configurable beepers, and good-read indicators to provide visual, audible and vibrating feedback on successful scanning.
